So the big day finally came! After about 2 or so years of wanting to start my own YouTube channel, I finally uploaded. April 9th was the day I uploaded my very first video!
Honestly, it was so much fun. I enjoyed every second, even the cringey, 'watching my videos back' part! I'm currently in the process of uploading my second video, but here is the first if you'd like to watch!

Another beautiful summery day today, a perfect shooting day! I recently picked up this suit from New Look, after a long winded search for a reasonable priced white pinstripe suit. Little did I realise that the trousers from this set, were the exact same trousers I picked up in the ASOS sale at the beginning of the year, damn wholesale! I've already featured the trousers in a previous post, but now I can finally style it as a set!
Although the jacket implies I'm going for more 'put together' look, I pulled that right apart with these amazing monochrome sliders! These are also from New Look and were so cheap. I love the whole 'smart-casual' vibe, and since I didn't have any trainers that I would put with this, I opted for the very marmite choice of sliders.
Okay, so I suppose I should point this out before people think I haven't quite noticed..
Yes, I am fully aware that my hair is a completely failed attempt at blue-y green ombre. If it wasn't for the fact I've just answered the door to a magnificent Grafea delivery, I would be one grumpy lady.
I do have a consultation at the hairdressers today, so fingers crossed I'm not stuck with mould hair for much longer!
Moving on to the outfit, I purchased this as one of my options to wear on Christmas Day, but as the day arrived, I opted for comfy trousers and a t-shirt.. whoops. I couldn't not share it with you guys though as it's so pretty!
The suit is from Pretty Little Thing, and is on sale for around £7.50 now.. eek! I almost want to purchase it again for that price! (I won't though.. that would be ridiculous).
My shoes are also from Pretty Little Thing, and are a fabulous addition to my growing fluffy-shoe collection. Let's hope they stay white!
I'd had my eye on this sassy little clutch bag for absolutely ages, and after a lot of umm-ing and ah-ing, I decided to buy it, only to find it was out of stock! For some reason I randomly checked it again, and it was back in stock! (and on sale, might I add), so I obviously had to buy it. Does anyone else get more of an urge to buy something when it's out of stock? I think it's the child me in me wanting things I can't have!
The bag itself isn't very spacious, but makes such a cute accessory.
So I actually shot these images before the new year, but Happy New Year! I had an amazing 2014, there was some downs for sure, but mostly it's been the year of discovering myself and who I am, who I want to be, and who I want in my life.
I'm thinking of creating a little sum-up post of 2014, so if anyone is interested.. keep an eye out! It won't only be about 'blogging' things, it'll be about other aspects of my life too.
Anyway, I'd been after a pair of ripped jeans for ages, and I never bought any as I find buying jeans as tedious and unfair as having to buy socks and underwear. They are a human essential!! Right?! I've worked with Miss Pap numerous times before, (as I'm sure you'll remember their lovely pieces), so upon choosing something to collaborate with again, I immediately went for a pair of classic black ripped skinnies.
Since I've never owned any before, I can't compare, but I will say that these are SO soft, and SO comfortable. I was anticipated them to be quite stiff and ridged, but they were a dream to wear. This is possibly a trait for Miss Pap jeans in general, as I own another pair that are crazy soft and stretchy!
As this is quite a simple outfit, I chucked on my dogtooth cape, and my ah-mazing ASOS sale bargain glitter flat-forms to add something to it.
I had my eye on these shoes for ages, and as soon as I saw them in the sale section, straight in my basket they went! I wore them on Christmas day, as I didn't feel like wearing a heel, but I wanted a jazzy shoe as my outfit was pretty simple! Perfect.

Okay. I know what you're all thinking. 'How Mrs Doubtfire/Kim Kardashian of you!'.
For a start, I haven't even seen Mrs Doubtfire, (don't shoot me!), but I'm very familiar with the outfit as Robin Williams, (bless his soul), pointed out the similarities between his and Kim Kardashian's ensemble.
I'm no stranger to the Missguided 'new in' section, and I've been spending a lot of time on there recently, watching the A/W range slowly being fed to us.
I spotted this insanely perfect maxi dress a couple of days before payday, (fate!), and all of my blogger friends agreed that it's so me! I love the elegance of it. It covered pretty much your entire body, yet it has a cute knee slit, and a v neckline.
I will say, this is not a 'throw on quickly' dress, this is a 'I have 600 hours to kill getting ready' dress. You have to do up each button, and God bless you if you miss a button!
In the grand scheme if things, it's really not a big deal because the end result is looking like a fabulous, somewhat pretentious, autumnal queen.
The dress in itself is a huge statement, so minimal accessorising is key. I am debuting both my Primark basic box clutch, and my New Look mules!
I bought both of these pieces quite a while back, and don't they go perfectly with this outfit?!
For a start, Primark are upping their game big time. This bag came with it's very own dust bag?! How Chanel? (Kind of). It also has a phone compartment inside, and plenty of space for rubbish you really don't need. Perfect!
My dreamy simplistic New Look mules are perfect for a little extra height, and a little extra elegance. I would love them in white, but I can't find them anywhere! (Not reasonably priced anyway!).
This outfit could totally be dressed down too. I'm thinking tan rucksack, black fedora and Birkenstocks maybe? I'll be experimenting throughout the season no doubt!
As I'd imagine you all know, I am the craziest kimono lady on this Earth, so realising that A/W is rapidly approaching certainly rocked my emotions as I worried I'd have to part with my with dear kimonos! So as it turns out, you can buy grungier shades of kimono?! Genius! There's me thinking it was only acceptable to rock the neons and pastels.
I actually bought this little beauty in the New Look sale a while back, but I couldn't bring myself to showcase the darker colours whilst it's still.. 'Summer'..
I found the perfect opportunity upon receiving yet another incredibly elegant two-piece from Hedonia.
You may have seen an older post of me wearing a gorgeous white two-piece from Hedonia, and how much I raved about the elegance and beauty of it. Well now that they're releasing they're new collection, I was super lucky to receive the A/W take on the two-piece trend!
It has lovely mesh/caged detailing on the shoulders of the top, and just above the hem of the skirt. I really don't like super short skirts or dresses, so the length of this is just right for me, and the fact you can only see a couple of inches of leg in between gets the thumbs up from me!
Looking over my outfit, this is quite a classic 'Nicole' look really. Kimono? Check. Two-piece? Check. Primark? Check!
What can I say? I'm consistent!
Primark has so many gorgeous shoes in at the moment, and I was thrilled when I spotted these very 'Dr Marten' style cut out shoes. They had them in black too, but the burgundy looked so much more expensive. Certainly a lot more than the £14 price tag!
So how did I do at A/W fashion? Am I coping with the inevitable season change?
I was really struggling for a name for this blog post, but it seemed pretty apt to name it after the lovely necklace I'm wearing!
I was very kindly sent this beautiful statement necklace from London Style, which is a British jewellery brand selling quality statement pieces.
I'm completely obsessed with the detail and the stones on the necklace. They're such a unique combination of gems, definitely a standout amongst most other statement necklaces on the market. I couldn't possibly get a good enough picture of how stunning the emerald green stones are, so please take my word for it!
I also have a couple more pieces to show you from their range, so look forward to seeing them again!
I think it's clear my outfit has been based around my necklace, so I went for the blues!
My trousers are an absolute STEAL from Primark. I don't think it would be a very 'Nicole' blog post without some Primark! I also picked them up in a Barbie pink, which shall be featured soon.
Actually, my top is another Primark bargain from a few summers back! Loose crops are my favourite, especially in this killer heat, anything fitted is a no-no in this weather.
Recently, I'm never without a trusty maxi kimono. (The most forgiving summer essential!). This one is from New Look, which I've now purchased in a lighter blue! (Obsessed, right?!).
And finally, another colour in the rainbow that is my jelly shoe collection! I spotted these in Ark on my way to the check-out. It was one of those 'yep, that's mine!' situations!
Anyway, I decided to take a seat in a few of these shots, not entirely sure it works for me as I'm not so sure I should be compressed as much as I should be stretched out. Does that make sense? No? Okay, I'll stop. Enjoy your evenings my lovely people!
