New Venture: YouTube

So the big day finally came! After about 2 or so years of wanting to start my own YouTube channel, I finally uploaded. April 9th was the day I uploaded my very first video!  Honestly, it was so much fun. I enjoyed every second, even the cringey, 'watching my videos back' part! I'm currently in the process of uploading my second video, but here is the first if you'd like to watch!

Suit n Sliders

Another beautiful summery day today, a perfect shooting day! I recently picked up this suit from New Look, after a long winded search for a reasonable priced white pinstripe suit. Little did I realise that the trousers from this set, were the exact same trousers I picked up in the ASOS sale at the beginning of the year, damn wholesale! I've already featured the trousers in a previous post, but now I can finally style it as a set!
Although the jacket implies I'm going for more 'put together' look, I pulled that right apart with these amazing monochrome sliders! These are also from New Look and were so cheap. I love the whole 'smart-casual' vibe, and since I didn't have any trainers that I would put with this, I opted for the very marmite choice of sliders.

Spring Days in Burgundy

How beautiful has the weather been recently? It certainly motivates me to get on with things! It's hard to feel sluggish when the weather is so pretty. Not only did I take this opportunity to shoot some blog pictures, but I also used to bring my little doggy outside! He's not one for the outdoors, but a little bit of fresh air does him good. (Also, he makes my pictures extra cute).

I understand the sunshine wasn't exactly calling for winter shades, but I'm not sure I'm quite ready to bring out the bright colours yet! Although I do see it in the offing..

I decided to pair my gorgeous ASOS sale trousers with this little burgundy check jacket. The jacket is super lightweight, but is made of a very fine knit material, so enough to keep you warm when there's a chill! This is from South Avenue and is an absolute bargain! I layered up a couple of Missguided jersey tops to add a little texture, as I thought just a plain black top would be boring and basic. (Not cool).

Checked Neutrals

Oooh it has been a while! (Outfit post wise). I just haven't been in the mood stand in the freezing cold. Yes, it's getting brighter, but that chill just won't let up! I'm really trying to post frequently as I absolutely love blogging, and I refuse to let work get in the way of my passion!

Ever since London Fashion Week, it's like I've really come into myself, fashion-wise. I know what I want to wear, and I'm going to wear it! I picked up these gorgeous relaxed trousers from Zara recently, and ugh, they're perfect. Actually, not entirely perfect. There's some very unfortunate stitching on the crotch that's driving me insane, but other than that, they're amazing. They're super thick, soft, and soooo comfortable.

Speaking of London Fashion Week, I picked up this Kim K style coat to wear for the occasion from Miss Pap. I definitely recommend sizing up as although it's quite a relaxed coat, the arms are pretty snug. It's fairly thin, yet it manages to shield me from the cold which was quite surprising!

Now I may be getting ahead of myself, but Spring/Summer is fast approaching and I'm starting to grab myself some new sandals. The latest in my collection are all cross strap mules and I'm obsessed. I spotted these from the Missguided SS/15 event pictures and knew they had to be mine. I love the metallic gold strap entwined with the glossy black one! The heels is only a small block one, so comfort isn't being sacrificed with these babies, and I could spend all day in them!

PINSTRIPES

Oooh, an outfit post! It's been a little while since I've shot one of these, and thats purely down to lack of time, and the fact that I've been falling in love with all things make-up! Don't worry though, I still love fashion and will always be posting outfits! I'm actually going to London Fashion Week next week for the first time, eek!! I'm so excited! Expect lots of pictures! 
Anyway, on to the outfit! I'm obsessed with pinstripes, and I've acquired quite a few pieces in the print, (mostly tailoring). One pinstripe suit is not enough for me, and I'm always after another! I'm currently lusting after a black/navy on white set, so hopefully I'll get a hold of one of those soon.  As soon as I spotted this on Missguided, and I was like.. YEP. I've not stopped wearing the trousers. They're SO comfortable. Although they're quite clearly a tailored trouser, the material is fairly stretchy. Perfect eating trousers! I know, how sad. I do genuinely wear them every time we go out for a meal though as I can go all out and eat all the burgers in the world and still breathe!! (Kinda). The bralet is something I'm definitely saving for the warmer months, but popping it under a snuggly coat is totally acceptable. 
I think I'm slightly confused about the weather with this outfit to be honest.. I mean, I'm wearing a big coat.. and sliders???? They're cute, so whatever. It works in my head!  I love these rose-gold metallic sliders from Primark. They're literally a dream. The sole is super spongey and comfortable, something I fully appreciate in a shoe. I did get a little ahead of myself, and I picked up a couple of pairs of summer appropriate shoes, but I know they're going to fly out when the sun arrives, so I'm all stocked up! They do them in a few more colours, and I can see myself swaying towards picking those up too. Oops!

ICE QUEEN ACTION

I have to say, not only is the title of this post apt due to the ice-y blue tones of my outfit, but also because it was bloody freezing! Literally.. I died a death out there. Summer, please hurry!
I imagine some of you are familiar with Lily Lulu if you're no stranger to the blogger world, but if not, this dress is from their new collection which is SO Kim K. Minimal, muted, and so chic. I originally thought this dress was a loose cami dress, but it turns out it's quite fitting. It's perfect with some knee-highs, and I went for an obvious choice.. those ASOS boots.
I think I'm definitely aspiring to be Kylie Jenner here.. (and failing), but she's definitely been seen rocking a similar number to this ice blue duster. I purchased this last summer, and it's been perfect for those not so chilly days, (although probably not quite January appropriate!).
To compliment the blue in the coat, and the blue in my hair, I went for my baby blue Grafea bag. I genuinely don't use any other bags now!

So, as the oh so original title states, I have blue hair! Well, blue ombré. Am I Kylie Jenner yet? (Sadly, no). This was a second, and finally successful attempt at blue ombré hair. What do you think?!
Anyway, I rediscovered a few pieces for this look. One being my very well loved Primark dogtooth coat. I wore this to death in recent months, but later found it collecting dust in my wardrobe whilst I swanned around it newer coat additions, so I'm delighted to put it back on the front line!
Even though this outfit is somewhat tame, the shine and print of this skirt provides a little edge. Whilst the silhouette of this skirt is generally covered by my coat, I can tell you it's incredibly flattering. (PS, this skirt is on sale now for under £10, woop!). My top is a super elegant basic I picked up from Missguided a little while back, and I can't believe this is the first time I've worn it! It drapes around the skirt beautifully, and I think this would look just as good over some high-waisted jeans for a more 'put together' daytime look.

THE BLAZER CAPE

It was only a matter of time until the 'cape' spilled over into multiple other clothing pieces, and I'm thrilled about it! Super slouchy, super chic, super comfy.. what's not to love? This cape blazer is as classic as it gets. Tailoring and comfort don't often come as one, but in this instance, they've teamed up to create the perfect statement piece. 
For me, a cape always calls for long sleeves and a high neck, so this American Apparel style striped crop from Miss Pap was the perfect choice. It's such a thick material, so a good choice for this weather, regardless of it being a crop top. 
I already own these cropped trousers in an icy blue, and I've worn those to death, so it only made sense to pick them up in pink. They also do them in black and a stone colour I believe, so they're next on my list! I've literally had them for two days, and I've barely taken them off! I love a cropped trouser, I think a little bit of ankle is rather appealing! 
These shoes are the most understated, glamorous shoes I've seen. They 100% remind me of the Queen herself, Kim Kardashian. (Quite possibly why I was so drawn to them?). Missguided do them in a whole range of colours, and I'm dying to own the entire collection. I'm particularly after a classic black pair. These nude/blush ones go perfectly with the trousers, and with the muted colours, can be pretty much paired with anything!
