New Venture: YouTube

So the big day finally came! After about 2 or so years of wanting to start my own YouTube channel, I finally uploaded. April 9th was the day I uploaded my very first video!  Honestly, it was so much fun. I enjoyed every second, even the cringey, 'watching my videos back' part! I'm currently in the process of uploading my second video, but here is the first if you'd like to watch!

50 Shades of Grey

I guess I kind of went overboard with wearing grey.. but I quite like it! I shot these straight after work, so apologies for looking a little dishevelled.. (ah, retail). I've been loving these 'Kim K' style tops, and I also have one in black. Although they're not an off-the-shoulder top, I like to wear it that way as it just won't fall properly on me otherwise! This one is from Miss Pap, and is such a bargain. It's super versatile as well, a top you can wear in the evening, but also chuck over a bikini on the beach. 
Pretty much the rest of my outfit is from Forever 21. I recently had a little splurge on there, and ended up with quite a few grey pieces. I love cropped, high-waisted trousers. They're literally my favourite thing to wear all year! These were so cheap as well at £15, so I got them in good ol' black too!
I popped on my cream H&M fedora, and I really like the way it looks with the shades of grey!

A Chilly Spring Day

As you'll have seen, I've collaborated with Miss Pap numerous time throughout my time blogging, and now I'm excited to be regularly blogging for them! This weeks post is all around these gorgeous staple white ripped jeans. I've wanted a pair for ages, and I think you all know how much I rave about Miss Pap jeans, they're second to none! They're so thick, yet still maintain comfort with that 'easy jean' feel. 

White jeans are perfect for Spring/Summer, and I love that these have rips in them, adding a little edge!

I just chucked on this poncho which I've had for a while, it was a little chilly whilst shooting, so even though it's short sleeved, the thin knit was enough to shield me from the cold.

I also popped on my new criss-cross sliders which I picked up from Forever 21 for an event. They're SO perfect for me as I seriously can't handle a heel for long, but I don't always like wearing 'just' flats, so the fact that these have a thicker and shorter heel is amazing, and I can confirm that I can last all day in them!

Ps, I switched up the location of these pictures half-way through as I wasn't feelin' my look, can I live?

Ripped Jeans and a Spring Coat

This look is super casual and 'Spring-y' as it was an absolutely gorgeous day when the pictures were shot! I can't say much about the weather now, but these images certainly have me yearning for the warmer months. 
I actually wore a very similar look to this to London Fashion Week, switching the jumper for a stripe tee, and the camel coat to a camel duster. I got this jacket in the mail recently from Naanaa Clothing, and it's even better in person. The material is so light, but it hangs like an absolute dream. (Quite bouncy, if that makes sense?). As it's in a very neutral shade, it goes with most of my wardrobe, and will easily see me through the warmer weather.
I'm not sure if I've already featured these jeans before, but they're my ultimate favourites. I must have mentioned in previous posts, but Miss Pap literally do the best jeans.. EVER. They're so stretchy and soft, yet the feel like good hardwearing jeans. A rarity these days, as most are thin and lack shape after some time. 
After getting a little sick of lugging around huge bags with me everywhere, I decided to invest in a couple of smaller bags, just for the essentials. I picked this one up in H&M for only £12.99, and I now own it in black too! (PS, both of them are on sale for £7..whaaaaaat).

Slouchy Silhouettes

Today's post is involving a favourite 'go-to' style of mine, slouchy! Comfort is key for my outfits, so the fact that the 'relaxed look' is in is great! I can pass off what I once called 'hobo chic' as 'fashion'.

I've been wearing this jumper to death since I bought it, literally it's my favourite jumper in the whole world. H&M never fail to please me when it comes to a good roll neck, and this is no exception. 

I picked up these trousers in the ASOS sale a while back, and again, I wear these all the time. Whilst they're a little big on me, they're super comfy. Definitely a good pair of eating pants, if you know what I mean.

I wanted to add a pop of colour to this outfit, and staying with the comfortable theme, I went for my Reeboks that my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. They actually match my hair, which is pretty cool! See, it wasn't completely random accessorising.

SPARKLY SUIT

Okay, so I suppose I should point this out before people think I haven't quite noticed..  Yes, I am fully aware that my hair is a completely failed attempt at blue-y green ombre. If it wasn't for the fact I've just answered the door to a magnificent Grafea delivery, I would be one grumpy lady. I do have a consultation at the hairdressers today, so fingers crossed I'm not stuck with mould hair for much longer! 
Moving on to the outfit, I purchased this as one of my options to wear on Christmas Day, but as the day arrived, I opted for comfy trousers and a t-shirt.. whoops. I couldn't not share it with you guys though as it's so pretty! The suit is from Pretty Little Thing, and is on sale for around £7.50 now.. eek! I almost want to purchase it again for that price! (I won't though.. that would be ridiculous).
My shoes are also from Pretty Little Thing, and are a fabulous addition to my growing fluffy-shoe collection. Let's hope they stay white! 
I'd had my eye on this sassy little clutch bag for absolutely ages, and after a lot of umm-ing and ah-ing, I decided to buy it, only to find it was out of stock! For some reason I randomly checked it again, and it was back in stock! (and on sale, might I add), so I obviously had to buy it. Does anyone else get more of an urge to buy something when it's out of stock? I think it's the child me in me wanting things I can't have! The bag itself isn't very spacious, but makes such a cute accessory.

SNOW LADY

After having such a horrid past week or so, this is cheering me up having the chance to blog a little!
With it being Black Friday, obviously work decided to put me in to work a 9-6, which meant I would be missing out on a LOT of shopping. Not on my watch! Yep, I spent my entire break mooching around the shops, searching for bargains. Much to my dismay, the offers were pretty poor, and I only purchased one thing, but I am in love with it. I picked up this snowy white coat from H&M. I'd actually spotted it before and regretted not buying it, so I jumped at the chance when I saw it dangling off a rail on it's own. Admittedly, it is a little too big for me, but nothing was going to stop me from buying it! I did receive a measly 10% off it, but for only £35 to begin with, there's not much to complain about.
As the coat is fairly lengthy, and I decided to have it tied, I didn't feel the need to wear any bottoms, (oops!), but I wore my well-loved roll-neck jumper I've had for years underneath for some additional warmth. I love the look of a roll-neck underneath a coat, it looks so 'chic', plus, it keeps you warm!
I've been obsessing over the fluffy heel trend ever since I saw the sneak-peeks from A/W14 press days, and now I own a nude pair, and these black ones from Linzi Shoes! These ones are so practical, (as practical as heels can be), as they zip up at the back, rather than having an awkward strap. It's a little sad how excited I was about that, haha! I love scrolling through all of the shoes on Linzi. They have so many pairs that I fall in love with, so affordable too!

A BIT OF FLUFF

I should really have just called this blog post, 'insert witty/cool title here'.. probably would have been better! Anyway, it kind of sucks that I'm no longer reminiscing over holiday snaps, whilst typing up these blog posts. Yep, the holiday is officially over, I need time to grieve.  GRIEVING OVER. How can I be sad when I have fabulous clothes? Of course, clothes aren't everything.. but damn, they sure cheer up a gloomy day.
I arrived home from work to a package from the lovely people at NaaNaa Clothing, instant good mood! If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen me wearing the summery version of this beautiful playsuit. I'm not normally a strapless kind of gal by any means, but for some reason, these playsuits work! (In my opinion, that is). Obviously, I'm not going to be rocking my summer gear this time of year, but it never hurts to own it in a more seasonal shade, right? I think since being a blogger, my legs have become immune to the cold, so I no longer feel the need to destroy an outfit with tights! Incredibly beneficial when the majority of my outfits consist of items that don't cover up my legs! The fit is absolutely perfect, and I feel surprisingly comfortable in it! Top marks from me.
My fluffy, marshmallow, snowy goodness jacket is one I have featured before, but I figured it looked super cute with this outfit, and definitely added a wintery twist! Anyway, who said you can only feature things once?!
I'm actually dedicating an entire paragraph to these shoes.. I might even write a book.. or a song..  They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in my ENTIRE life. Please read that sentence three times, or as many times as you need to, to understand just how comfortable they are.  I attended the Linzi Shoes Press Day back in July, (I believe!), and it was quite obvious what my favourite pair of shoes were! Whilst they were releasing their new collection over the previous months, I was adamant I would wait until my beloved shoes were released before choosing a pair! It honestly came to the point where I was checking the website every single day.. I know, I had a problem. But it's okay! I have the shoes! Panic over!  Alright, I'll stop being 'dramatic'. Basically, you need the shoes. The shoes need you.  They're almost identical to a pair of Dr Martens, (chelsea boot style, of course!). Besides when I was in Africa, I've worn them every single day since receiving them, and we couldn't be happier together!
This is getting weird now. It's almost 1am. I'm delusional. Enjoy!
