ON WEDNESDAYS WE WEAR PINK

To honour the genius that is Mean Girls, I decided to incorporate a little pink into my outfit to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the movie, and of course, to adhere to the very firm rules of The Plastics.

A couple of ASOS mags back, I spotted this super pretty mottled pink denim jacket. Once I saw it again in the most recent magazine, it was straight into my basket as it was quite clearly fate! It's perfect for cool summer evenings and it's now my staple denim jacket, goodbye boring blues!

To add a girly touch to this look, I decided to wear my white swing dress. I have a lot of love for floaty swing dresses, and my collection is constantly growing. They're the easiest dress for me to wear as I can dress it up or down, and they're very flattering! Yep, there's no bad feelings after eating one too many bars of chocolate in these!

My white chunky caged sandals are my favourite white shoes that I own, (up to now). They're a little dirty after some heavy use, but they go with everything! I would wear these with an all black outfit just as much as i'd mix it in with bright pretty pastels.
My bag was a wild purchase of mine last year, it's super cute to add a little 90s vibes to your outfit, and we all know it's all about the 90's!

I've pre-shot a bunch of posts as i'm staying at my boyfriends for a couple of days, so the location is a little different. However, thank you so much to all of the flowers for attracting every blooming insect!!!

FLORAL PLAYSUIT (Opal Boutique)

So I was recently contacted by the lovely Katrina from Opal Boutique, asking if I would be interested in choosing a couple of items from their website to review on my blog. After having a look on their website, it didn't take me long to pick from their gorgeous products!

I received this absolutely beautiful playsuit which I had chosen from their website. I've never really been a big 'playsuit-gal', however something about this one intrigued me. On receiving this, my expectations were exceeded as it's the most flattering playsuit I have ever seen. The material is so delicate, yet it has a silky feel underlay (to prevent unwanted VLP!)
The little matching belt pulls you in and creates a pretty bow at the back which is a cute bonus. (Of course, I needed assistance as i'm hopeless at tying bows. Thank you, boyfriend!)

I was pleasantly surprised with a few little extra treats in my package, one being this just.. INCREDIBLE necklace. I am obsessed with statement necklaces, they're so wearable, and something you can transition from day to night.
At first glance, I didn't notice the inner chain of this necklace was lined with little diamonds. How cute?! I think this would look perfect during the day with a simple white tee and jeans, or dressed up with this 'evening florals' playsuit!

To dress down this outfit for the daytime, I paired it with my new crazy bargain Vagabonds! Would you believe I bought them for £24?
I also popped on my aviators, slung my slouchy black leather backpack over my shoulder, and BAM, super casual chic.

If you want to check out their website for yourself, the link is www.opalfashions.co.uk, alternatively, I have left the links to the items shown below for easier access!

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Katrina & Opal Boutique for giving me the opportunity to review such amazing items!

PRETTY PINK GINGHAM

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll have seen I created a Missguided wish-list which included this super girly gingham skater dress. I'd been meaning to purchase it for so long, and when Easter came around, I found it to be the perfect opportunity to purchase this as my 'Easter outfit'. I'm a sucker for anything gingham, and the fact that it's in a pretty pastel shade seals the deal. It's such a flattering fit, so this has definitely become my favourite Spring dress.

I've actually included a few pieces of jewellery in this outfit as I have so many lovely pieces that I always forget to wear!
My necklace has got to be one of my favourites that I own. It's simple, yet still a statement, and the fact that it's a simple jewel makes it so wearable.
I only recently purchased these earrings whilst shopping in Oxford Street. I was doing a lot of 'umming' and 'ahhing', but as they were only £1.50, I didn't have much choice, did I?
I found incorporating a couple of pieces of jewellery adds a little elegance to this outfit, (plus, it didn't break the bank!)

I've featured both the bag and the shoes before, but I just can't get enough of them!
My chunky white heels go with pretty much everything I own at the minute! Pastels and white shoes are a match made in heaven.
I find this bag can be a little difficult to 'style' with sometimes, but sometimes I just bite the bullet and go colour crazy!

MONOCHROME WITH A TOUCH OF PASTEL

I never normally take any form of pictures on the same day I have work as I generally need to invest all my energy in getting through the day, but today I seemed to be full of life, so I decided to get outside in the lovely weather.

A few weeks back I purchased the two-piece version of this cover-up which i'd been pining after for the longest time, but when I actually received it, the fit wasn't quite right on me and the top was huge. I decided on swapping it for the dress version which I figured i'd get a lot more wear out of, and I haven't looked back! It is rather see-through, so for 'non-beach' wear, I've put a plain white cami underneath to spare people the image.

Of course, there has to be a touch of pastel in my outfit. I almost, ALMOST put this with some black shoes but how was I to resist debuting my pastel pink, princess jellies?! I bought these while I was in London over the Easter weekend and they are the softest pair of Juju's that I own. Lilac and mint green, you're next to add to the collection!!

I felt this look would be a little too basic without this black felt fedora hat. I've got three of these now, and this is the only one that has made it to the outside world! The cut/style is perfect for me, and I pretty much wear it all the time. I have my eye on a camel/beige coloured one at the moment, i'm just deciding when to make my move.

The final pieces are my super huge black backpack and my (far too frequently featured) Primark sunglasses!
I own this bag in emerald green aswell, which is a perfect excuse for me to buy some clothes to match!

A MISSGUIDED SPRING LOOK

It's no big news that i'm a sucker for a two-piece, and it's Missguided who i'm holding responsible for fuelling my addiction! No other place does a two-piece quite like Missguided. All boxes are ticked for me. Pastels? Yep. Affordable? Yep.
Surprisingly, I haven't mentioned my (slightly OTT) obsession with the Kardashians on here yet, however if you know me personally, you'll know.. you'll just know. I spotted this two-piece on Ellie Mack's instagram and almost immediately bought it myself. It's SO Kim K. I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen her rocking a ribbed two-piece and failed to find one myself. They do it in cream aswell which I have my eye on very closely!

A few months back before I began posting my outfits, I uploaded my coat collection consisting of around 6 or 7 coats. Let me just say, that collection has grown, and in beautiful pastel shades!
One of my favourite colours is lilac, and as pastels are so popular at the moment, it's super easy for me to get a hold of pretty lilac pieces! I obviously had to buy this coat, it's officially my Spring coat, and with 10% off my order, it was an absolute steal.

I've seen so many bloggers wearing these white chunky heels recently, and i've had mine collecting dust in the box since Christmas as a) they're too pretty to wear, (weird, I know), and b) I haven't had the opportunity too! They go perfectly with these soft pastels, and I most certainly will be taking the plunge and wearing them more often!
