The Perfect 90's Nude Lip

Hello!

Today I'm bringing you a super exciting post, as I've found the 90's lip shade. (Or the Kylie Jenner shade, whatever you want!).

I only recently picked this up, but it was certainly love at first swatch. Yep, that's a thing.
Not just for the shade though, the formula is beyond perfect. Whilst it's a matte finish, it's super moisturising. Say goodbye to flaky lips!
This is new to Urban Decay, and part of their 'Matte Revolution' lipstick collection. The shade is very fitting to it's name of '1993'.

As you can see from the swatch, it's a perfect blend of browns, pinks & nudes. Similar to MAC's Whirl lipstick, but not half as drying.

It retails at £15.50, so the same price as a MAC lipstick, but the quality is so much better, and rate this higher than any lipstick I own! If this isn't the shade for you, then I still highly suggest checking out the other colours in the range as they're incredible lipsticks.

Have you tried this lipstick out? What's your favourite 90's nude shade?

PRIMARK MANNEQUIN

I think this look is going to be very appealing to the masses, as the whole outfit is from our beloved Primark! Obviously this means it's completely in budget, and hopefully easy to get your hands on!

Now I work in my local town centre, I have much easier access to Primark, so every few days I take the opportunity to search the racks and rails for a gem or two. On my latest trip, I found this b-e-a-utiful 'retro' style halter-neck playsuit. I love halter-necks. They are the classiest neck-line in my opinion, yet also incredibly.. 'sexy'. (I shudder at that word).
It's really comfortable as well, with none of that zipping it up nonsense. It's elasticated, but the material is chiffon, (with underlay of course), so it looks a lot more expensive than it is!

I've featured this Grafea-esque bag in my previous post, so I won't bang on about it, but how fabulous? I needn't say more!
These shoes are the most, 'I don't believe these are Primark', shoes I have ever laid my eyes upon. (Does that make sense? Just roll with it). Who knew Primark would provide my feet with magical, chunky, holographic goodness?

If Primark carries on poppin' these gems out left, right and centre, I will be one very happy girl, (with a few extra pennies to spare!)

(Just having a chat mid-picture, yep).

A FRUITY SHOOT

Before I begin, I just want to say a huge thank you to the lovely wind for INSISTING on attacking me in every single picture, and another thank you to my hair, you always know how to ruin a good shot!! Now that's out of the way, this two-piece needs to be spoken about.

I've been following Glitters For Dinner for quite a while now, and i'd been lusting over their amazing 'Clueless' inspired pieces like crazy. I definitely planned on ordering a few bits from there, and as soon as they posted this watermelon beauty, I immediately pre-ordered. Much to my surprise, it wasn't all that expensive! I believe they're an Australian company based in Thailand, so I expected delivery charges to be colossal, but nope! It's free delivery on all orders, and I didn't have to pay custom fees! When I changed the currency, I think it totalled to around £40 or just under which is incredible for a two-piece! I suggest sizing up as the pieces run a little small, but it's a lovely thick long-lasting material.

I paired it with my simple white Primark pool sliders, and of course some circle sunglasses. It wouldn't be me if I didn't feature some sunnies, right?!
Oh, and how could I forget these little watermelon earrings? These are an old Primark purchase, but adorable nonetheless! (And so fitting!)
I'm hoping and praying the weather cheers up a little, as i'm certainly not appreciating being out in this bitter weather!

PICNIC TIME (Beach Melba)

Oh this weather wasn't very kind to me today! I was hoping the sun would be shining all day, but unfortunately it was very temperamental, so I had to time it wisely.

I was recently contacted by the lovely Amanda from Beach Melba, asking if I wanted to try a couple of their products. Honestly, you have to see it for yourself. The pieces are incredible, and at such an amazing price!! It's the first store i've seen full two-pieces for under £20 in all of those gorgeous prints. I chose this super cute hot pink gingham two-piece. Don't I look like i'm off to a picnic? There was also a little matching scrunchie in my package which was a lovely surprise!

I'm two-piece crazy at the moment, and my favourites are these little handmade gems! The way this has been made is perfect, it's such a lovely fit and looks as though it's fresh from the Topshop racks! There's no need to worry about sizing with the tops as they're adjustable, which was definitely a relief for me as I am... blessed at the chest.

I chucked on my cute bubble bag, (like this outfit wasn't girly enough!), and my New Look sandals, which as you can tell, I wear to death! For once, i'm not actually wearing sunglasses in every single picture, but you can see me carrying my new addition to my ever-growing collection.

I highly recommend checking out their site, www.beachmelba.com, as they do lots of cute kimonos, two-pieces and separates. Also, as a little extra, they were kind enough to give me a 20% discount code for you all to use 'BEACHFRIENDS20', so definitely snap up some of their lovely pieces!

PASTEL COLOURBLOCK

On an 'accidental' shopping spree in the Trafford Centre, I spotted these UH-MAZING American Apparel style shorts in Forever 21. They're literally the exact same as the AA ones, down to the last thread! Of course, they were a fraction of the price so I couldn't say no. Let's hope the high-street stores continue bringing out these higher-end gems!

I loooove ribbed crop tops, and I own quite a few now, (including my b-e-a-utiful pink Missguided one!). They have more edge than a regular crop top, but they're still subtle and very wearable. I love this little blue number, however it's very see-through, so I do apologise for the sight of my bra. If anyone could give me tips on what type of bra/what to wear underneath, that would be great!

I wanted lots of statement pastel jewellery to go with this look, so I used the only two pieces I have! My necklace includes almost every pastel colour you could imagine, and my earrings are a simple mint green. Perfect.
As my outfit/jewellery is the focus of this look, I toned down the shoes with some fun glittery jellies.

LILAC DOGTOOTH

Whilst the weather was lovely, I took the opportunity to get a couple of outfit posts done! I recently made quite a large Missguided order, and i'd been after this two piece for quite a while so of course I ordered it. I love a-line skirts as they're super cute and flattering, and the fact it's part of a set makes it perfect! Lilac is fast becoming my favourite colour this Spring/Summer so i'm finding i'm choosing everything in lilac! Oh well, I can look like a human parma violet, that's fine by me!

My bag is my favourite, (and probably my only), clutch bag! I love anything holographic and i've always been drawn to it ever since I was a child choosing which glitter to chuck around my room! It was a pretty cheap one from New Look which I ordered on ASOS a while back. I believe it's gone into the sale since I purchased it for around £8, so i'm not sure if you can still get your hands on it, but it doesn't hurt to try!

What other shoes would I pair with these outfit? Of course, it had to be my holographic La Moda sandals. I just can't get enough of them! They're my go-to shoes to 'spice up' a basic outfit, or to add to the glam!
