DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

As I've rabbited on about, I've been on the hunt for some new/unique locations for my blog pictures, and discovering this creepy, colourful surrounding called for an impromptu shoot!
I purchased this super sparkly crop top whilst browsing in Primark. I'm a sucker for anything holographic, shiny, sparkly.. you name it! My boyfriend thinks I'm like a magpie.. quite true actually! The price was a pleasant surprise at only £8, a pittance compared to the outrageous price tags in the likes of American Apparel!
Since I wore the most simple outfit ever, I decided to jazz it up with the showy crop top, and my beloved Grafea.

Unfortunately the coat hasn't come across as fabulous in these pictures as I'd have liked, but seriously girls, if you get the chance, head down to H&M and pick this baby up! I was so beyond shocked when I discovered it was only £24.99!! This is up there with the £90 Topshop coats, and I managed to track it down in my size in my local store after failing to in the Manchester branch! With a little help of 20% student discount, it would have been stupid to leave it behind.. regardless of the 1,000,000 coats I have already acquired this season.

By the state of my hair, I'm sure you've all cottoned on that the weather wasn't particularly kind to me, so I do apologise for looking so poop. We did try to shelter underneath some lorry.. type.. thing.. but still ended up soaked anyway!

PRIMARK MANNEQUIN

I think this look is going to be very appealing to the masses, as the whole outfit is from our beloved Primark! Obviously this means it's completely in budget, and hopefully easy to get your hands on!

Now I work in my local town centre, I have much easier access to Primark, so every few days I take the opportunity to search the racks and rails for a gem or two. On my latest trip, I found this b-e-a-utiful 'retro' style halter-neck playsuit. I love halter-necks. They are the classiest neck-line in my opinion, yet also incredibly.. 'sexy'. (I shudder at that word).
It's really comfortable as well, with none of that zipping it up nonsense. It's elasticated, but the material is chiffon, (with underlay of course), so it looks a lot more expensive than it is!

I've featured this Grafea-esque bag in my previous post, so I won't bang on about it, but how fabulous? I needn't say more!
These shoes are the most, 'I don't believe these are Primark', shoes I have ever laid my eyes upon. (Does that make sense? Just roll with it). Who knew Primark would provide my feet with magical, chunky, holographic goodness?

If Primark carries on poppin' these gems out left, right and centre, I will be one very happy girl, (with a few extra pennies to spare!)

(Just having a chat mid-picture, yep).

CLASSIC WHITE

Wedding season is here, and I've only been to a handful of weddings in my lifetime, all of which I was dressed by my mum, so i've never had the opportunity to experiment with elegant wedding pieces. I'm a huge fan of classy long dresses, and cute swishy skirts, so when I was contacted by Hedonia to style one of their gorgeous pieces, I immediately took the opportunity!

Of course, i'm a two-piece girl, and this set is the epitome of class. I have to say, it's the most flattering fitting two-piece I own, and such incredible material! The skirt has a gorgeous  silk underlay, which builds volume and gives the skirt a little swish! The reason I mentioned wedding attire is because for me, this is perfect for a wedding or a formal party! Personally, I don't really like to wear fitting clothes, especially for long periods of time, and this crop top is the most amazing style. It fits around your bust, and floats past your middle, and as the skirt comes in at the waist, it creates a super flattering silhouette.

I paired this with my holographic La Moda sandals as for me, they're my smart-casual chunky shoe!

I believe if you register with Hedonia, you receive £10 to spend in their store! So much better than you're average 10%. I'll leave the links to my outfit below so you can check it out for yourself, and their other amazing products.

Thank you again to Rachel for giving me the amazing opportunity to own this super beautiful set!

LILAC DOGTOOTH

Whilst the weather was lovely, I took the opportunity to get a couple of outfit posts done! I recently made quite a large Missguided order, and i'd been after this two piece for quite a while so of course I ordered it. I love a-line skirts as they're super cute and flattering, and the fact it's part of a set makes it perfect! Lilac is fast becoming my favourite colour this Spring/Summer so i'm finding i'm choosing everything in lilac! Oh well, I can look like a human parma violet, that's fine by me!

My bag is my favourite, (and probably my only), clutch bag! I love anything holographic and i've always been drawn to it ever since I was a child choosing which glitter to chuck around my room! It was a pretty cheap one from New Look which I ordered on ASOS a while back. I believe it's gone into the sale since I purchased it for around £8, so i'm not sure if you can still get your hands on it, but it doesn't hurt to try!

What other shoes would I pair with these outfit? Of course, it had to be my holographic La Moda sandals. I just can't get enough of them! They're my go-to shoes to 'spice up' a basic outfit, or to add to the glam!

 (I was decapitated)

THE PRIMARK PALM TREE CO-ORD

If you've been following my posts, you'll know i'm a huge fan of co-ords, and I seem to be building quite the collection!
Back in February, I spotted the black version of this two-piece in Primark and I immediately picked it up, unaware of it's pretty pastel sister. I later returned it in the hope i'd pick up the pink version, and I absolutely love it.
The material feels very similar (if not the same) as the on-trend neoprene fabric, which is super flattering might I add. I love the boxy top contrast with the fitted skirt as it shows off all the more forgiving parts!
I couldn't resist putting this outfit with my new La Moda holographic sandals, they go with everything! I wore them yesterday for a trip to Manchester, and they were the comfiest heeled sandals i've ever worn so I would highly recommend! (They also do a variety of colours which i'm dying to add to the collection!).
I'll leave a link to my previous post here including these sandals for more details.

PLAID SKIRT feat LA MODA SANDALS

As i'd mentioned in my previous post, i'd been shopping with my friend in Manchester. Unfortunately, there wasn't much time to whip the camera out and take some pictures of my outfit, so decided to re-create the look before I go to work today.
Somehow.. accidentally.. I ordered clothes from New Look whilst I'm supposed to be saving.. ANYWAY, I completely fell in love with these two pieces in particular, and they actually go together like a dream!
The top is just a simple 'waffle material' tee, and is possibly the definition of 'smart-casual', as it can be worn for any occasion, (paired with the right clothes).
I seem to have developed a wild obsession with plaid skirts in these gorgeous brushed wool materials, and to-date, I own six, (oops). They're so cute and girly, and with New Look insisting on bringing out new ones all the time, how am I to resist?!
I only received these beautiful shoes in the post today, so I hadn't originally wore them with this outfit, but.. wow. How amazing are they?! I recently discovered La Moda through other bloggers, and I haven't looked back since. I can't fault them. From style, to price and to delivery time! I was hoping to purchase the lilac jellies as well, but unfortunately they were out of stock. I highly recommend checking their website out, La Moda, I promise you will be in awe at their stock.
I've shown this coat in a post previously, which you can view following the link 'coat'.
I've been using this bag non-stop since it arrived. I can't find it online anymore, but I believe some stores still stock it in H&M. I've found it goes with practically anything because of the light shade of blue, and is the perfect size to carry all of your handbag junk!
Also, my dog seemed to enjoy jumping in on my pictures and wondering what on earth I was doing, so he may feature in a few shots!
