Feelin' Fancy

I've not done a 'fancy shmancy' post in a while, so when Quiz got in contact with me in regards to collaborating with their occasion wear, I jumped at the chance.  I absolutely love getting all glammed up, it's just a shame I don't often have the opportunity too! 
I opted for this uber cute halter-neck monochrome jumpsuit. I love the fact that it's a wide-leg jumpsuit, super flattering, and super comfortable. It doesn't actually have a zip, but the material is so slinky that it just 'glides' on to your body.. if that makes sense?? A favourite of mine, (and my mothers), is the silver embellishment at the waist. I tried my best to get a close up, but the camera really doesn't do it justice!

Actually, another favourite of mine is the padding on the chest area.. yay for no ugly bra straps!!!
I popped on my teal pointed heels, mostly as an attempt to compliment my hair!
This is such a gorgeous piece for your wardrobe, and it's price point is dreamy at under £40. (Yep, for real).

THE GRID PRINT DUSTER

I'm sure you're all pleasantly overwhelmed with the amount of duster coats hitting the shops,  and I'm sure you've all seen it in the very on-trend 'grid' print! Well, I absolutely love it. I want grid print everything. It's such an edgy twist to what would be your basic monochrome look.  I picked this classic duster up from Ark whilst they were offering 20% student discount! I wouldn't mind owning the reverse colours in this duster coat as well, but my bank balance has told me I must stop and I must stop now!
I love higher necked crop tops, and I spotted this one in Primark amongst a variety of other colours, so I picked a few of them up! They're the perfect basics, and for only £2.50.. it's only right to get them all? I've not worn skater skirts much recently, but I pulled this one out from the pile as I thought it was cute and simple. As much as I agree that skater skirts can look 'childish', I also think they can be quite girly and cute!
I've been wearing my good old Topshop peep-toe shoes quite a lot at the moment as they're so so comfortable, but I worry I'm going to have to pack them away again soon when the weather is no longer on my side! I'm in desperate need in finding the perfect A/W boot. To bring out the pink in my little top, I decided to use my pink Grafea camera bag! Although I absolutely adore my pastel shades of Grafea, I'm really struggling to include them in my A/W outfits, so I really need to get a hold of a more suitable shade! 
How're you all liking the new location? This isn't particularly far from my house, however I'm a little nervous I'm trespassing where I shouldn't! Ah well, until I get told otherwise or shot by a farmer, hopefully this is suitable! (Ps, the wind was destroying my hair, photos, life.. so sorry!).

Not necessarily the most creative of blog post names, but straight to the point! Right? I don't normally don the snakeskin print all that often, but for a little over a month, i've been loving it! I worry how soon it will be until my wardrobe looks like a reptile enclosure. 
I made quite a large Missguided order recently, (no surprise there), and this halter-neck dress is one of the lovely pieces I ordered! As I said in my previous post, I love halter-necks. They're especially lovely for summer!  With the print of this dress being quite 'dark', it's something you can transfer over to your A/W wardrobe, yet can still rock in the summer as it's a lovely floaty material, and shows off some back and shoulder!
Am I a walking Missguided advertisement? I think I might be!  My shoes are also from Missguided! I already own the black leather ones from Topshop, and I thought these would be a lovely summer boot. They look and feel a whole lot more expensive than the price they are!
I was also recently sent some goooorgeous gold and yellow midi rings from MYU Fashion, so I painted my nails to match! They sell some beautiful clothes too, so i'd definitely recommend checking them out! They sell their items via Depop, '@MYU', or just e-mail them via their Instagram, '@myufashion'.

(Apologies for my toe-nails not being painted, personally i'm not fussed, but I realise it grosses some people out).

CANDY STRIPES

Seems quite an inappropriate outfit considering the weather? Oh well, all in the name of blogging! 
This little candy stripe crop is from the fabulous Beach Melba, which I received along with my beautiful gingham two-piece, (which you can see me style here).  I definitely think the tank style is the way to go for me, as I find them much easier to wear and the fit is perfect, so for my next Beach Melba pieces, this is the style i'll be going for! 
I did struggle on what to style it with, as I couldn't get a hold of the matching set, but my apparently fashion forward boyfriend reminded me I own these amazing shorts! The yellow in the shorts really compliments the thin yellow stripes of the top, so it works really well. However, this would go just as nicely with some simple denim jeans, which is what i'll be wearing it with after my holiday!
This is very much a holiday outfit for me, and one i'll be taking to Greece with me (eeeep a week today!!), so of course I had to chuck on my sun hat! I find it difficult to find a sun hat I actually like, as most of them are dressed with silly bows and tassels, so this simple floppy one is an absolute godsend. 
My bag is my absolute favourite! I picked it up over Easter in Primark in Oxford Street, and put it back last minute, trying to be 'good' with my money. Of course, as soon as I got home I was filled with regret, and luckily I found it in the Manchester branch! It fits my camera and lense in perfectly, and for £6, who's complaining?!
It seems the weather hasn't cheered up since my last post, so lets hope it does for my next one! I'm really not a fan of trying to pass off goosebumps as an accessory.

A POP OF PAISLEY

During todays shoot, I willingly put myself through unbelievable torture. I posed with a swarm of gnats. Yep, all for you guys! Okay, so I didn't choose out of all locations to get snuggly with the bugs, but they just so happened to be in the one spot I wanted to be in!
Anyway, clothes! I've had these trousers for a little while now, and I love them to death. They're my perfect summery trousers. There's so many pretty colours within the pattern, so there's surprisingly a lot that would go with them, but I chose good ol' black.  I'm off on holiday very soon, and I love floaty crop tops as I can't STAND fitted clothes in sticky heat, so I placed an order on ASOS and here we are! I know black isn't your 'typical' holiday colour, and it's certainly not my first port of call when out in the sun, but I couldn't resist this one. It's so cool! I'm by no means 'cool', but this makes me feel so edgy and... 'cool'. I've seen quite a few similar to these, but none of them quite cut the mustard for me compared to this one. All of the trimmings are ripped/frayed, (in a good way!), and it looks super beachy.
Is there any other shoes that would go with this outfit? Probably, but how cute do my 'Birkenstock' dupes look with this?! I bought these in, wait for it... NEXT! Yep, the place your elders shop, stock the most on-trend affordable shoes. (The sales advisor in me is showing!). For £20, who needs Birkenstocks?

MONOCHROME WITH A TOUCH OF PASTEL

I never normally take any form of pictures on the same day I have work as I generally need to invest all my energy in getting through the day, but today I seemed to be full of life, so I decided to get outside in the lovely weather. 
A few weeks back I purchased the two-piece version of this cover-up which i'd been pining after for the longest time, but when I actually received it, the fit wasn't quite right on me and the top was huge. I decided on swapping it for the dress version which I figured i'd get a lot more wear out of, and I haven't looked back! It is rather see-through, so for 'non-beach' wear, I've put a plain white cami underneath to spare people the image. 
Of course, there has to be a touch of pastel in my outfit. I almost, ALMOST put this with some black shoes but how was I to resist debuting my pastel pink, princess jellies?! I bought these while I was in London over the Easter weekend and they are the softest pair of Juju's that I own. Lilac and mint green, you're next to add to the collection!!
I felt this look would be a little too basic without this black felt fedora hat. I've got three of these now, and this is the only one that has made it to the outside world! The cut/style is perfect for me, and I pretty much wear it all the time. I have my eye on a camel/beige coloured one at the moment, i'm just deciding when to make my move. 
The final pieces are my super huge black backpack and my (far too frequently featured) Primark sunglasses!  I own this bag in emerald green aswell, which is a perfect excuse for me to buy some clothes to match!
