Checked Neutrals

Oooh it has been a while! (Outfit post wise). I just haven't been in the mood stand in the freezing cold. Yes, it's getting brighter, but that chill just won't let up! I'm really trying to post frequently as I absolutely love blogging, and I refuse to let work get in the way of my passion!

Ever since London Fashion Week, it's like I've really come into myself, fashion-wise. I know what I want to wear, and I'm going to wear it! I picked up these gorgeous relaxed trousers from Zara recently, and ugh, they're perfect. Actually, not entirely perfect. There's some very unfortunate stitching on the crotch that's driving me insane, but other than that, they're amazing. They're super thick, soft, and soooo comfortable.

Speaking of London Fashion Week, I picked up this Kim K style coat to wear for the occasion from Miss Pap. I definitely recommend sizing up as although it's quite a relaxed coat, the arms are pretty snug. It's fairly thin, yet it manages to shield me from the cold which was quite surprising!

Now I may be getting ahead of myself, but Spring/Summer is fast approaching and I'm starting to grab myself some new sandals. The latest in my collection are all cross strap mules and I'm obsessed. I spotted these from the Missguided SS/15 event pictures and knew they had to be mine. I love the metallic gold strap entwined with the glossy black one! The heels is only a small block one, so comfort isn't being sacrificed with these babies, and I could spend all day in them!

CHOIES WISHLIST

So today's post is slightly different, but something I love creating! I think wish-lists are perfect for gathering together pieces that I intend on buying, and inspiring others too! Personally, I make quite a few of my purchases through other peoples wish-lists, and it also enables me to discover new brands.

Anyway, today's focus is on Choies. I've loved Choies ever since first hearing about them from Barbara on YouTube, (please go and watch her videos, she's incredible!).
They sell the most amaaaazing pieces, from shoes, to dresses, to cute little two-pieces!

I managed to narrow my wish-list down to six items, (one of which I already own, and you can view on my blog here), but I can guarantee i'll be posting a few more of these in the future! I've left links to each of the items below, so go and have a look for yourself!
Also, if you'd like me to do weekly wish-lists for various brands/trends, let me know as I find them interesting and useful!

RETURN OF THE MAC

Howdy! I have had such a busy week! I wish I could spend ALL my time blogging and doing all that 'bloggy' business, however I need to work to fund this fabulous endeavour! Yep, I've been working like a little horse this week. My day off on Sunday will be very much appreciated, but for now, i'm trying my best to fit in blogging amongst other commitments.

My style certainly varies. One day, i'll want to be in all black with chunky boots, and another day i'll want to be a human candy stick. I think this trench-coat definitely toys with my darker side, however i've added it to a brighter outfit and it doesn't seem so mysterious!

The dress. Oh the wonderful, wonderful dress. I am in love with this piece of art. Did I pay stupid amounts of money for this on eBay? Nope! I purchased this dress from a seller on Depop for £15! It is a dupe, so I may have over-payed as they're selling them very cheap on Choies, but I justify it with love! The material is a lovely thick neoprene, just like the Zara dress. I can't fault it!

My shoes have been featured on my blog before, they're simple ankle strap flatforms from Topshop, (that I got cheap on eBay). Super simple, adds edge to any outfit!

I'm very much hoping the weather improves soon, as I froze to death shooting these and required frequent arm rubs from my boyfriend!

DRESS - DEPOP - £15 (similar here)

RIBBED CROP & PVC OOTD

First of all, i'd like to apologise for not posting for almost a week! I've been super ill with the flu AND my boyfriend caught it as well, so when I began to feel better, my photographer was out of action! We're both feeling a lot better now, so weather permitting, we managed to get outside today and get a couple of shots before it started spitting!
Introduction over, recently I went to the Trafford Centre with my mum and in the short time we had, I managed to pick up quite a few things, including some bargains from the topshop sale, (which i'll do an outfit post on soon hopefully).
I've been dying to get to a Zara after seeing some amazing pieces online and on other bloggers, so I was pleased to get a chance to go there as my local one was taken down. I picked up this gorgeous ribbed polo neck crop top for only £7.99! I've been looking for one of these for AGES, but they've always been stupidly expensive or out of stock so I was made up.
I purchased this skirt a while back from River Island (via ASOS). It's such a gorgeous shocking bubblegum pink and I think it adds a huge pop of colour and edge to a simple outfit.
I've had these Vagabonds for around a year now, and they're the comfiest heeled boots I own. Literally, i've worn these for a whole day around Manchester and not struggled at all! A huge bonus in my opinion.
