SPORTY COUNTRY GIRL

I've really been experimenting with my style recently, and I've purchased lots of items that are a little 'out-there' for me. I've always loved the look of tailored dungarees, but always found myself returning them after being too afraid to rock them in public, however, I've finally found a pair I love, yay!
These cropped dungarees were a bit of an impulse buy on Missguided, but I'm so pleased with them! The fit is perfect! It hugs me in all of the right places, and smooths over the, erm.. less desired places. I would have thought dungarees are more of a summer piece, but the print and colours of these make them 100% A/W proof. Like the model on the Missguided website, I'm wearing a plain white t-shirt underneath, but I have worn them with grey too, so there's lots of different colours you could pair it with!
I've had these New Balance for absolutely ages, and never have they matched an outfit more perfectly than this one. All of the colours are perfect! I now feel like I need to get more New Balance to match all of my outfits, who said fashion can't be practical too?

PALM TREES FOR A/W

I was obviously wrong when I thought I'd packed away my kimonos for the coming months as I'm finding ways to style my beloved pieces in the cooler months! I discovered the brand Dark Waters quite a while back, and I'd been obsessed with all of their cute, affordable pieces, so I was so excited to be given the opportunity to chose something from their range!
I chose this beautiful mint green, palm tree print kimono that I'd been obsessed with for ages. This is clearly more of a summer piece, but I found it really easy to bring it over to the A/W side of things! I was obviously going to team it with some black to bring out the palm trees, but I also wanted another hint of mint.. (ha!), so I wore my basic ribbed crop top, and my mint green high-waisted shorts. The top is the loveliest fabric considering the price! I hope it's brought out in more colours, as I'm dying to get a few more! If you remember my outfit post with my super floaty green kimono, you'll remember I wore it with these shorts as a co-ord. I thought they went perfectly with the mint in the kimono, and probably one of the few times I've worn part of a co-ord on it's own!
I'm really loving the whole grundgy shoe vibe recently, aren't I?! My boyfriend keeps teasing me about the fact I say 'androgynous edge' in the majority of my posts at the moment, so tactfully avoiding that phrase! (Besides my use of it just then..). I wanted to steer clear of the girly chunky shoe look, so I went for my Dr Martens instead, and I thoroughly appreciate the comfortable alternative to heels!

A CASUAL PASTEL PINK DAY

Ah! So the weather has noticeably changed since my last post, yay! Of course, that meant I was a lot more eager to get outside and shoot some pictures. 
I was recently paid, and bit by bit, i've been spending my wages. I'm waiting on a couple of orders, but today I went into town with my boyfriend to change our money up for our holiday on Sunday, which meant I did a little shopping! One of the pieces I picked up, was this gorgeous little pink gingham shirt from H&M. I'm sure i've seen a couple of bloggers in it now via Instagram, but it looks a lot nicer in person! You can button it up to the top, but I think it looks cuter with a few buttons un-done for a more casual look. 
I'm wearing a pair of the 'vintage blue' Joni jeans, but I won't talk about those too much because really, who doesn't own a pair?! I've also featured these pastel pink jellies before, but they are so, SO soft! I own three pairs of JuJu jellies, and these are by far the softest pair, and yes, that's a good thing as you don't want them to rub your feet!  I've featured this bag possibly a few months ago, but it's still one of my favourites. It's just a slouchy PU leather pastel pink backpack from Primark, super bargain!
You could dress this up a little more with a statement necklace and some rings, but I didn't actually own anything I had in mind! I think it would look perfect with a statement light pink jewel necklace. 
This will be one of my last few outfit posts as I go away on Sunday for two weeks and I have a lot to do! But I have a wish-list i'd like to get up before then, and hopefully another outfit post, but time will tell! Has anyone got any nice holidays planned?
