REVLON MATTE BALMS

My first 'beauty' post in a while and second in total I believe! I'm not totally clued up as far as beauty products are concerned, but I do enjoy using and trying out new products so I will occasionally add my input.
Yesterday, I popped into my local Boots to pick up a couple of the new Revlon Matte Balms. I'd seen them a week prior, and since then YouTube has gone MAD for them so I knew I had to try it. They are £7.99 each so they're a little pricey, but for what you get it's definitely reasonable, (also Boots had their 3 for 2 offer on so I took advantage of that).
I'm completely obsessed with deep reds and purples and I own a pretty large collection of them, so I decided its time I should branch out a little into some more spring/summer shades, (funnily enough its pouring it down as i'm typing this so I don't feel so summery!).
With the help of my boyfriend, I narrowed it down to three shades which are; Elusive, Audacious and Sultry.
Elusive is a bright, yet nude-y pink, which is perfect for me as super light pink lips don't suit me, (I can't pull off the Barbie look).
Audacious is what i'd describe as a 'hot orange'. I have never owned an orange lipstick before as i've never found one that suited me, but this is a really pretty shade that hopefully i'll be able to make work!
Sultry is possibly my favourite of the three. I'm not sure if this makes any sense, but its sort of a 'nude raspberry'. Maybe you'll be able to tell from the swatch, but its a really gorgeous deep nude pink and i'm pretty sure ill be wearing this all the time.
The benefit of these being matte balms is that you don't get those dry lips you get from matte lipsticks as the balm moisturises your lips! The colour pay off is excellent and I definitely recommend.
